The Drifters Girl is a brand new musical following the story of legendary soul group The Drifters and their manager, Faye Treadwell.
The first female, African-American music manager, Faye Treadwell has a burning determination to take her Atlantic Records group to the top. In pursuit of chart-topping records and worldwide tours, Faye must face personal tragedy and lengthy legal battles, but her passion and love can help her through; she is, after all, The Drifters girl.
This new musical features beloved songs from The Drifters back catalogue, including “Save The Last Dance for Me”, “Under the Boardwalk”, “Stand By Me” and “Saturday Night at the Movies” to name just a few.
A celebration of soul music and the people that made it, The Drifters Girl will arrive in the West End at the Garrick Theatre from 4th November 2021. Tickets are on sale now.

Award-winning recording artist and West End star Beverley Knight (The Bodyguard, Memphis) stars as Faye Treadwell. Further casting is to be announced.
The Drifters Girl features abook by Ed Curtis, and the production is directed by Jonathan Church. Design is by Anthony Ward, with choreography by Karen Bruce, lighting design by Ben Cracknell and music supervision and orchestrations by Chris Egan. Further creative team announcements are to come.
